Not sure if any of you readers are fans of the show Paranormal State which airs Monday nights at 10 p.m. on A&E, but I am a huge fan. I have been following the show from the start and was instantly hooked. Ryan Buell and his PRS Team of investigators are phenomenal. They take their cases seriously and one can tell when watching the show that all the PRS members genuinely care for their clients.
Ryan Buell is the director of his group and not only is he handsome and delightful to listen to (great voice), but he has some really sincere psychics aboard his team as well. Chip Coffey cracks me up everytime….I can never get enough.
Way to go PRS…keep up the good work.
If you’re not a fan of the show….watch an episode and check it out. If you are a fan….comment and tell me why and for how long.
Okay so it has arrived. Twilight Weekend. The DVD is getting released at 12:01 Saturday morning and there are tons of release parties happening in every city in the US. Will YOU be at one? I will.
For two reasons. The first being that I am a huge Twilight fan and the second so that I have first hand knowledge of the chaos that I’m sure will ensue. The chaos part I will blog about tomorrow after I have caught up on my rest since I’m sure it’s going to be a long night between the screaming tweens and mom-fans like myself.
So…if you’re attending one of the parties…comment and let me know where. And if you’re not attending the parties….stay tuned for the update sometime on Saturday. Either way, Edward will appreciate the devotion I’m sure. 🙂
Hello readers and friends. It’s Monday. Over the weekend I decided that I would like to start becoming more “greener” in the products that I use to clean my house. Such things as toilet bowl cleaners, floor cleaners, and degreaser products are some things that I am considering changing. I have been toying around with the idea of going greener for some time and I figured why not give it a shot….it can’t hurt right?
So over the weekend I purchased some “greener” toilet bowl cleaner and degreaser’s and took a few hours and cleaned the house with them. Here’s my assessment of the aforementioned. So far so good. lol. Simple as that. The toilet cleaner cleaned as well as my usual Clorox with bleach toilet bowl cleaner and the degreaser got my oven surface sparkling so I’m happy.
I think that after I really get the hang of this green stuff that I’d like to even make homemade cleaners. I’ve been doing some research in that area as well and have come across lots of great sites and ideas in helping achieve a total green lifestyle.
Don’t get me wrong, it will be hard for me to give up those great smelling laundry detergents that incorporate Febreze and Downy into their products, but I’m willing to give it a shot.
I was thinking the other day about what my ideal office space would look like. If I could literally take a room and transform it into my office….with money as no object….what exactly would I have in it?
The basics…yes….like a super fast top of the line computer….office supplies galore…fax machine…coppier…the whole nine.
But what about things like windows? Personally I like lots of light….natural light. Therefore, I would have at least three big windows…with amazing purple paisley curtains sweeping ceiling to floor. Definitely vertical blinds rather than horizontal as I believe they let in more light. I would paint the walls a light mocha-red color as I love the warm, inviting feeling that it gives off.
My floors would be bare except for an elegant oriental rug with hints of violet woven throughout. And an oversized microfiber loveseat would adorn the corner for guests to make themselves home in. I would even invest in an ottoman so that my guests put quite literally put their feet up. On the side of the couch would be a glass end table so that glasses of iced tea could feel at home as well.
Art would consist of timeless masterpieces hanging the walls, I prefer to have two or three really big pieces rather than numerous small ones scattered on the wall. I would also incorporate the busts of some favorite authors of mine such as Shakespeare and Poe.
My desk would be black…and I really like the picture above with the round desk….if I could find it bigger….I would add it to my room. Also, BOOKCASES….and lots of them. I love built-ins but I’ll take free standing. I have a very large collection of books that just keeps growing so the space would come in handy.
Last but not least….a real comfy chair. One that I wouldn’t mind spending loads of time in.
This would be my ideal work space….what about yours?
